Upcoming date/time: Thursday September 21st 6pm to 8pm

Location: My house and fish tanks in Waterbury Center

Are you looking to start and aquarium, buy one for your kid, or improve the one you have? With the cold weather approaching, many of us turn to indoor hobbies to provide relief from the winter darkness. Aquariums are great for this! As a hobby, keeping fish can be very rewarding. It is, however, the responsibility of any pet owner to provide a safe and humane environment for our aquarium inhabitants.

In response to a lot of misinformation I've heard out there, I'm offering a evening 2 hour workshop on the basics of fish-keeping. How to set up an aquarium and test to maintain safe water. Knowing the basics of the nitrogen cycle. Buying the right equipment and avoiding the traps set by the marketers of aquarium products. We can go over all this and more and you can pick my brain all you want.

The workshop can encompass both freshwater and saltwater aquariums  - you can take advantage of my experience and mountains of research into the hobby.

Cost is $25 for the evening workshop. Use the contact me form to sign up or for any questions!
